A family fun day out whatever the weather!

Enjoy a nostalgic journey along the banks of the River Ribble on board a steam train, then get hands on with the exhibits in our large indoor museum.

You can also take a look at the restorations underway in our workshop, browse in our gift shop and relax with a drink and a snack in our cafe.

We hold a number of special childrens events throughout the year, from Friendly Engine Weekends to our ever-popular Santa Specials at Christmas time.
